Playlist - 6/12/2016

Hi Folks.

Today was the 45th anniversary of the death of J. E. Mainer (1898-1971.)  We remembered J. E. and his music with an interview of J. E. Mainer, Jr, and several of J. E.'s early recordings.

We also heard a radio transcription of Eddy Arnold's Checkerboard Fun Fest with The Dezurik Sisters (as the Cackle Sisters) and comedian Rod Brasfield.

We completed the rest of our portion with some great and rare classic country leading to Joe Bussard's 36th program of early country classics.
