An early start gave us about a half-hour extra time today for weather-related reasons, and we were very happy to be able to expand our presentation of early country music.The first half-hour was mostly 78s from Jim's collection followed by an hour of new and reissued early recordings. The new(er) selections were from Steve Kilby, super guitar picker from Mouth of Wilson, Virginia, and The Truffle Valley Boys from Italy. Other music from this century included a number from the late great fiddler Art Stamper, and the Whitetop Mountain Band.
