Playlist - 3/6/2016

Hi Folks.

Today was a good day to be on in the early 7-9am time slot because most of the great afternoon programming at WHUS was preempted by sports.

This was mostly a pre-war country show and Joe Bussard brought us his 22nd program for Red Rooster Party.

Doc Watson would have had his 93rd birthday on Feb 25 if he hadn't left us in 2012, so because of his incalculable influence, including what he did for me, I played some of his earliest recordings

Join us next Sunday morning and we'll have another great early country program.  I'm thinking about the classic country period after WW2, so we'll see.
